so on thur we brought the kids to the science centre to watch some shows, do some experiments and see some exhibits. it was a good good day and i havent been to the sci ctr in a LOOOONG time since, psch? so it was v exciting for me too! ^^ kekeke. wanna go there agn and stay for a longer time haha :D it's fun! kay piccies piccies!

anyways this week has been great :D company is great, have a nice partner and teacher working with me and of cos all the other ppl in camp too so yay! ^^ one more week to gooo~ then off to jkt haha. seeyaaaaz :D

SYTYCD 3 USED JUNIOR KICKSTART IN EP1 OPENING! :D HOHOHOHOHO (ya just started watching. shh.)

day one day one! what a tiring day ._. got a relatively huge class again -- 28 today +1 more tomorrow whew! but being week c, the kids are slightly calmer even though there are still a couple of naughty ones. but i still think they're generally adorable la :D took some pics today but was too busy to take a lot x.x we got through most of the experiments today which is good :D and hopefully the rest of the week (and the next) wld go smoothly! :D yayyy i've got a great teacher and partner jonathan and ilyas and they're doing nxt week too! glee glee glee :D

met a lot of old kids today, not just in my class but in the other A class and the two S classes as well. feels good to be remembered by little kids ^o^

today we ended earlier so i went home w qing. and the sky was bright blue with little fluffs of clouds. very pretty! and the forest behind carpark11 was a nice shade of green and it was warm and dry and not humid and the breeze was slightly cooling it was GREAT (: too bad we weren't there to stay tho ^^; butbutbut one additional thing there was a 1/2moon clearly visible in the sky~~~ so pretty~~~~ took quite a few pics of it haha hopefully can see clearly XD hvnt checked.

ytd spent ~2h walking ~4.5km ard bishan taking photos. :D for school work la. but still :D loved the walk. very peaceful, no need to talk/worry about much stuff. ^^

it seems ive lost a bit of myself i want to find it back. mayb when break comes? hmm. gotta focus on schwork now la there's so much to do and WANT to do but just so little time! rawrr. i wanna be happy carefree agn~~ ^^ and well, basically happy la. not say im not happy now but always got stuff to do nagging at the back of my head, there's no peace! and there's no proper rest due to it also.. like always waking up with this nagging feeling that either you slept too much or you have a whole pile of work ahead of you.

went to nus for registration today! and woahhh it took super long mainly cos of the initial queue for our matric cards and then the matric/cca fair after tt. x.x but the registration itself was pretty fast! so end up there were long queues outside the hall while the chairs they left inside for ppl to sit while waiting for their no.s to b called were pretty empty :P

thennn matric fair! where we got spammed by 312098283 stuff and had to lug everything home hah. srsly my bad was exploding + had another 2 bags given by them which were so mafan i stuffed them both together anyway :PP

SUNDAY
started off with me being late to meet zhenghang at iluma for the arch exibition! it was mind blowing and boggling to see all the intricate models tt the students could make using a whole variety of materials, and the ideas tt they can throw out. it's really amazing to see all this live la. and the room was super huge and empty and the feeling of being alone and isolated with all these models was pretty cool. hope i can be like them one day! :D

then went home, rested, had dinner and then off to watch Crackers?! :D

left home with a beautiful sunset (:

reached the site and did a lot of waiting D: (and testing ISO settings XD)

then the first fireworks finally came!

and there were many, many, MANY different types of fireworks! let the pictures do the talking bah x)

one word. 累.

no srsly. very very very tired. usually class sizes are approx 25-27 and tt's alr a lot. 20 would b ideal. we had 28 to begin with, 3 who just signed up by sat when we 1st met and today another 2. so tt makes a class of 33, which is SUPER BIG and hard to handle ._.

and in addition to tt, we have a lot of trouble makers and kids who like to playplay have fun and dunno when to stop playing and listen x.x ohsighhh.

did some fun stuff today actly but too bad was too busy to take photos srsly :X cos i bet the photos wouldve been nice. take some of the projects they did today tml la :D

anw we had intros then did the bone thingy, then went on to do CG experiments while i cooked eggs. yupp eggs! :D i cooked a total of 40 quail eggs and 12 chicken eggs laaaaa. zomgz. so many ._. yupp. cooking spreeee. used them for some experiments la. egg spinning egg dyeing and egg dropping :P i did the dyeing! and dyed my fingers blue too :X lalalala.

edit: bone thingy --- each group received one chicken bone which they soaked in a jar of vinegar. supposed to check everyday see if the bone becomes softer or not. whoot.

in case yall din knw, im reliefing at NY now. it has been a rather tiring experience and i can safely say tt im not v good at teaching classes ^^ tutoring one on one can. classes of over 30... tts a completely different matter :P

yeahyeah i know, old news, but i just finished watching the last ep and boy was it touching. i mean ppl can argue that artist wasn't a great groomer skill-wise? but he definitely had much more personality than jonathan who was just very proud and always certain that he would win due to his experience. i think the way he thought that he completely deserved it was just very ugly.

anyway here goes some comments: here and here

i'm really happy for artist. i think he deserved it. he works hard, he's inexperienced but he improves and does his best. plus he's true to himself and he's humble. and that's the spirit that should be rewarded. (: go artist! :D

oh and another diff is the way they handle stress? i mean jonathan is the one with more experience but he was more touchy during the last episode when they had to work through 8 dogs in a mere 11.5 hours whereas artist, who had less experience AND already had trouble with time management on his first dog, kept his cool and accepted every challenge that came with a smile and excitement of what was to come next. i think that says a lot. (:

hooray to the show! i wonder when season 2 (which has started alr lol) will finally reach asia T.T ah well. it's just like project runway. season 5 is over n i totally spoiled myself on wiki D: (no more wiki-ing!!!) but but i'm still gonna continue watching it la duh. (:

so today was free cone day! met qingy and jinny and queued twice at great world city (: mmhmm free icecream ftw! x)) the queue wasn't very long cos we went early and since GWC is quite an ulu place (less popular than say, cathay =P) we also went to that CD shop where i stayed for quite long moping over the price of the high society series. the songs are rlly VERY VERY good butbut the albums are VERY VERY expensive too. sighh. high society mah. D:

then we went off to bugis and met siewying and walked to arab street where qing got her beads for the beading projects ^^ then walked back to bugis street to look see look see, they bought some clothes and a pair of shoes heh. then went to ilumina! the new shopping ctr @ bugis.

THEN. at the front of ilumina, was this SUPER CUTE bao (包) mascot. huge, white, round, with a moustache, friendly smile, huge hands and an orange scarf and legs! :D suuuuuuuuper cute and and while we walked towards it it suddenly stopped moving at all and was just sitting there like a blob of immobile bao. and as we walked nearer he suddenly popped up at us!!! super cuteeeee! BUT. i forgot to take a photo with it ): I WILL FIND HIM AGN ONE DAY! :D

sat: rehearsals agn. at lst im not so unknown/blur anymore. 1st time testing the 2cd thingy nb. (: ohoh and many exciting encounters on the MRT! XD like some navy ppl frm Thailand who's uniform were super tight fitting o.o and a VERY VERY VERY tall guy and his 2 other VERY VERY tall friends O.O and the new mrt with the map with lights!! :D

today: payday~ ^^ for tuition~~ ^^ then took 410 to bishan in SUPER HUGE rain with SUPER SCARY lightning T.T and SUPER LOUD thunder. the thunderstorm was very close laaaa! >.< rehearsal today was DDD: cos the player was baaaad and i only had ONE! the other one konked out just as we started =.= ohwell. at lst i sorta managed to survive la so yaye! + gengen and anni yayee! :D bump in tml~ ^^ at a very very weird timing tho o.O ohwell.

bored, so decided to play minesweeper! :D but without right clicking. so. fun minesweeper! :D first time wasn't too bad after all! but the didn't win cos the game decided to give me not one, not 2 but FIVE choice areas. =.= (choice areas ie the pick one out of 2, 50-50 chance of dying D:)

sooo glod a went back! (((: met a lot lot lot LOT of juniors and ppl XD and went crazy all over again and basically was fun not having to think of a lot of things la (: happeeeee :D

met qing at hub 1st. waited for sy cos she was gonna b late T.T went to lib and got a good book tho :D whoopees then had dinner and waited for 852 for ALMOST 30 MINUTES O.O before it finally came.. went to sch.. missed artemis's part in the onight perfs. ): nvm la can find the dance on youtube or smt haha :D

met siew, hung out at the left side of the hall for a bit then decided to go to the back to find weisin! :D (where i was offered a suuuuper sarcastic smile cos i was almost 2h late?? >.<) ooooopsh. passed her her note and stayed there watching almost all the rest of the perfs :D before i finally decided it was time to go find ppl at class bench XD

hmms a total of 8 ppl turned up! which is nb le! :D and cx managed to come! :D aft tt was the campfire lightup and the artemis fire didnt even lightup la T.T the coal was burning blue but no flame T.T ares one also very small waaaah so sad ): and the campfire went off lol XD anw song session was so much fun! XDD high and AA with huangcheng ppl 1st then the rest suddenly disapppeared (?!?!) and weisin and i were left zihighing the rest of song session XD

aft song session decided to find classmates but alas i couldnt (found jiamin on the way tho :D) then in the end cld only found moxiang so ended up dancing w him XD and forgetting everything and jst zhamming and trying to rmb XDD whoo

aft tt finally found class, talked a bit more, received my vday pressie frm weisin (thankies!) and left to miss the j1 crowd on the bus. and 852 came fast! wahahaha. talked to shoukee on e bus too! (:

today was ECP again with kenny ivan + douglas! (: no more cycling, blading! and not that long also XD met at amk and went by the supposedly more 'civilised' way which wasn't muddy XD reached there, ivan and i rented blades, kenny rented a bike and douglas walked (: we didn't take a lot of photos this time round cos the blades ended up being too uncomfortable + ivan wasn't used to them so... not much progress XDD

cuttysark has revived! after 2 long years of neglect :P but also after 2 years of 道具 which means i spot a lot of flaws which i have to 补 if not i feel v 不爽 XP so today went to buy paintbruses (cos i lost some of mine oO) and white paint! (cos 用完了 :P) and tadah~ started repainting a lot of areas which are unsatisfactory. ((: hope i can at least finish painting the masts and yards by the end of this week then can proceed to put them together and FINALLY all the components will be done. then all that's left are the sails + rigging! :D need to cut and paint the sails. thinking if poster paint would work better on the sails than acrylic. it should.. :/ dunno. shall consult anni :P rigging will be x.x tho. hope my eyes survive the rigging then my pretty ship will be complete! :D hooraysss XD thinking of perhaps getting another one and doing a better job on it. shall see 1st :D

went to the lib today too and borrowed a few aki books. one of them is super nice to read! very informative la. wahahha. i still have LUE to finish and 2 of qing's books and 2 more of yc's books x.x guhguhguh.

i should prolly do smt before this blog dies oO hmmmmm. life's been the same same went back to sch on fri for cny celebs and met q a lot o juniors :D lik chuinyin!!! who has grown taller =.= not fair can. zzzzSIAN. met and talked a bit to ms and mrs ho too :D and i rlly rlly miss school life can stay at home so sian. go out spend money also not a good idea =____= hope i get a job aft i come back/by feb. the weather's been great lately. nice and sunny, little rain to dampen the mood and lovely lovely COLD winds that go up to 40kmph. whoa. anyway the winds are making me avoid aircon use for more than a week already so (Y) on that. :D not that i really like it but i like my blankie more. sorta weird. but it's not good for the occational morning sinus from breathing in too much of that cold air tho :P the hills here make it nice for trapping wind. mmmhm. wonderful.

blood donation tomorrow! after 1.5 weeks of making sure i eat enough iron-filled food like brown rice, pig liver, CORNFLAKES (which are tasteless D:), soya bean milk, seaweed (hai dai, not zhi cai) and i don't know what other stuff plus of course the iron pills, it all boils down to tomorrow. sent the boys off ytd. followed wj in n din get to catch the nxt batch (kenwee + cx) cos of the huge delay at the interchange for the shuttle busses.. sad lah. only glimpsed jinny and eileen while they were entering tekong and we were entering the audi alr! super late la haha XD anw tekong actually looks like a pretty decent/nice/clean place for a camp. but of course without the strict discipline, tough training and amount of scolding + punishments they get la. :P the winds are very nice there though XD cos of the sea :D

come to think of it the winds are miba strong here too -.- whee house is super dusty + everything is getting blown away thx to the wind! :P it's always like this during this time of the year i guess but i used to enjoy it in sch. rmb the times we wld sit as far away frm the field as possible in the canteen cos the winds were too strong. or get some guys/ppl to block the wind :P but even then it wld still blow your soup/noodles/food away -.- sighhhh i miss sch ): for the people and the random stuff we do. oh and my bench/wall too! and amphi. and many many things -.-;;

i wanna go to the staircase area nxt to the field to just sit and enjoy the wind! or the railing area where we stand to watch random stuff gg on in the field like war games. the wind wld b awesome (:

jogging. qing. the estate. explore :D. 1hr. super sweaty. need shower NOW. but super super super shuang. should do this again sometime :D

was gonna blog ytd cos i had too much free time anw and it looked good (one a day kinda thing lol) buutttttt i had nothing much to say. and got lazy :P

cooling down now before i go shower. hmms we explored quite a bit today and even got lost! XD (kinda?) but yeah we found our way out finally and just continued.. even went round in circles too and ended up in places we have been before =.=; yeahhh there's still the whole begonia + next to begonia section that we havent done so we shall do tt next time! this time was super impromptu XD so no planning or anything.. next time shall at least plan out a reasonable route and stick to it. yehh! :D

once a week sound good? lol.

my stamina is now super super super SUPER lousy =.= after skipping training for a whole year. ): wanted to go back trg today but my instructor no longer teaches there! so id rather go to BV to find him than learn under a new instructor bah.. see 1st i might visit nxt week to see how the new instructor is like :P if not just go to BV XD

i realised how useful tkd training is. once a week of PT + lots of random jogging is really useful for stamina AND flexibility. my stamina is pretty bad now and my flexibility is worse. gotta train up man. must b healthy! :D all the 'trg' i got in 08 were frm lik PE lessons and when i randomly feel like jogging/cycling ard the estate. hardly up to once a week tkd ))):
